If you’ve lived in several homes, then you recognize how challenging it is to move all of your stuff, however you collect things in 1 living situation, and then try to transfer them to a new space… It’s severely laborious and taxing to do the physical labor, and in the end it’s often taxing to position your belongings sensibly in a particularly sized and shaped location.
I swear, occasionally it takes at least a year for me to understand where everything sits in a new home.
It takes even longer to understand the localement of the air vents, light switches, and outlets in the house, and these can be substantial obstacles when it comes to placing all of your belongings. To make matters even worse, the older I get, the more it seems the home builders are completely unsatisfactory when it comes to placing air vents around a house. I cannot be the only human who has particular expectations when it comes to their heating and cooling machines. It’s beyond comprehension why an oil furnace would be located deep down in the crawl area of the home. I also can’t comprehend why an air filter would be tucked in the back, around the corner, and through several pointy objects when you need to access it every week, and worst of all, I am so exasperated trying to position my furniture around these awful and inconvenient air vents. One problem is avoiding placing furniture on all of the air vents. I swear, if it keeps up like this then I’ll just build my own darn house.
