I was really late for work today.
I was so late that the boss yelled at myself and others plus even threatened to have myself and others canned.
I don’t want to be canned because I enjoy our job a whole lot. I don’t believe that it was even our fault that I was late. You can’t control everything; all that you can do is try to prevent a disaster before it even happens. I had worked certainly taxingly to prevent our central Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit from splitting down. I have subscribed to a quarterly Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C inspection for our oil furnace, which means that 4 times a year, a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C worker cleans out, maintains, plus checks every single component of our oil furnace to make sure that it is plus will stay in working order. I have been doing this ever since I first bought our oil furnace because I wanted to prevent any overpriced breakdowns that might have happened. However, it apparently did not prevent this kind of Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C malfunction. My oil furnace died this morning, plus I have no clue why. What I do believe is that our oil furnace made myself and others late for work. It is so very cold in our new home right now, plus it is certainly taxing to get ready when you are so very cold. My hot water pipes froze (they are the first to freeze in the cold), plus this meant that I also had to take cold showers. The whole morning was miserable, plus by the time that I was in our car, I felt as if I might be getting sick. On our way to work, I called an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company to book an appointment for them to fix our oil furnace, plus they recommended a wonderful plumber to help fix the hot water pipes.
