A few weeks ago, I walked into the office only to realize that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component was broken down.
I immediately knew something was wrong because the building was extremely cold.
After asking the Admin about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, he mentioned that he contacted our commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider and was waiting for a call back from them. At that point, I wanted to go back condo because I suppose that I couldn’t work inside a cold office, however my only saving grace was that I kept a small space heating system under our desk because there have been times where the office was too cold for me. But not several other employees in the office had a random space heating system under their desk, so unfortunately, that afternoon they were stuck working inside the cold office. By the afternoon, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider still hadn’t made it to the office to repair the unit. Thankfully, our boss decided to close the office early and recommended us to work from condo if every one of us could! Of course, not everyone had the ability to work from home, so they just had the rest of the afternoon off, and unfortunately, I have a condo office set up, so when I got home, I was able to log into the network to continue our daily tasks. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider was able to repair the system that evening, and every one of us were able to return to work the next afternoon. And due to this situation, the Admin ordered a few space oil gas furnaces to keep inside the office. Space oil gas furnaces can’t supply the same comfort as an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, however they can supply some temporary relief inside a cold office space.
