Back to school is such a bittersweet time.
I spend my entire summer with my kids.
By the time back to school comes, I am happy to send them right back to school. The only part that I do not enjoy is making them lunches, studying with them, and turning them into responsible adults. I have them help me take care of adult responsibilities to prepare them for life. One of the things they help me with si the HVAC system. I show them how to change the filters within the system. I have showed them plenty of times before. I supervise in order to ensure that they are able to do this on their own. When they are older I do not want them to have to call an HVAC technician for the simplest of reasons. They could easily fix HVAC problems on their own. Sometimes calling an HVAC company for help can be a waste of money if you can do it on your own. I know you should not fix major problems as it can result in bigger HVAC problems down the road. A simple air filter change is a step in the right direction though. I always tell them that if they do have any trouble, they could always call an HVAC company for help. They are always more than willing to help you with your HVAC challenges. They are HVAC professionals and it is what they are paid to do. There is no reason to avoid them at all costs. They are much like my children’s teachers. They are there for help and guidance.
