My contractor neighbor went to grab supplies at the local hardware store, then while he was gone, my friend decided to use the bathroom. My friend and I had Mexican food that day for lunch as well as my neighbor was in the bathroom for a while. My coworker joined me as well as then my wonderful friend and I continued with the drywall, but just a handful of minutes later, my wonderful friend and I started to stink the most horrible as well as disgusting stink coming from inside of the bathroom. The door was closed, however the stink was unbearable. When my neighbor as well as I saw brown water coming under the door, my wonderful friend and I rushed into the bathroom as well as saw that the sewer was backed up, i instantly called the contractor as well as informed him that the sewer line was backed up. My friend and I tried to repair the toilet, however that did not help at all. My friend and I had to turn the water off at the street until my neighbor came back with supplies. Thankfully, the issue wasn’t our fault. The sewer line was backed up outside as well as a plumbing contractor had to be contacted as well as the homeowner. I thought my wonderful friend and I were going to lose our jobs if that sewer line issue was our fault.
